My goal is to develop functional and innovative designs for the home or business that support sustainability and inspire my clients, while reflecting their own style. Every project has its challenges, which is where I work closely with architects and contractors to ensure the design intent for remodels and new construction projects. KW always looks for ways to simplify design without giving up quality. Whether she decides to go "raw", "fresh", "bold" or "minimal", this design maven delivers the same result: a functional envelope where the clientele is left awe-inspired.

I highly recommend KW Designs for your home's remodel. Kristi has a genuine knack for interior design. Her ideas are spot on-they are fresh and unique, all while staying within the flow of the rest of the house. I especially like her ability to mix and match colors and textures. For example, our powder bath has stunning tile up one wall and warm, creamy wallpaper on the other three. It went from being a drab bathroom to being one of our favorite rooms in our home! Kristi's attention to detail shines through as well, little touches that take rooms to the next level and differentiate them from the common look every house seems to have these days. She suggested a piece of furniture that fits perfectly in a corner of a hallway. We spent ages trying to come up with something for storage that also looked nice. She nailed it. I also appreciate how Kristi responds to the inevitable problems that come with renovating; like shipping delays or broken products.

From start to finish, Kristianne (and her team) were incredible to work with! She spent the first few meetings getting to know us and how we live, which really helped to optimize the space and design for our family. She is incredibly professional, and has impeccable taste. Her team was always responsive to inquiries, and did a great job working within our budget. Another understated thing: she has a great network of specialists - fabric, wood, doors, steel, furniture, cabinets, window treatments, etc. Combining her eye and taste with the craftsmanship of these trades people yields some amazing results, including any custom create pieces you may want for your space and your vision. We've lost count of the number of times we have gotten compliments on pieces that she either found or personally designed for us. KW used her strong vision to achieve a clean, cohesive, and modern feel in our coastal CA new build project. She demonstrated great instincts around when to take risks and when to take a more understated approach and she's highly passionate about her work. She frequently pushed my wife and I to get out of our comfort zones and brought us back in several times when we went a bit astray. Critically, she convinced us to re-stain the open beam ceiling of our living/dining/family area black, which was a huge leap of faith for us but was essential in pulling the project together and ended up looking amazing. KW has her finger on the pulse of CA modern and delivers a fantastic finished product. Also a pleasure to work with and both collaborative and flexible in her approach.

Kristi and Ashley at KW Designs are amazing designers and lovely people. I am on my second project with them and they nail it every time. They listen to my input and incorporate my good ideas and gently steer me away from my not-so-good ideas. Love this team! You will not be disappointed!

They are able to narrow down the vast amount of choices and make great design decisions for their clients flooring needs. We love working with KW designs and would recommend them to our clients. The examples of our interior choices, chairs to paint colors that were provided to us, were clear and concise, so it made our decision's pretty straight forward, but they always gave the "designers choice", which we went with 90% of the time. A big plus for us. They are very courteous, and the follow through was great. KW treated this office like it was theirs, good job KW.
